Upcoming Retreats
a pilgrimage of inner intelligenCe
DHARAMSHALA | OCTOBER 28-NOVEMBER 4, 2026
For Mindful thought leaders and conscious change makers called to explore inner states, collective consciousness, and the living discipline of compassion. Curated by MINDAI in support of Monlam AI and the preservation of ancientTibetan wisdom and National Healing Capacity Initiative.
A planned personal audience and blessing with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama anchors this expedition in humility, reverence and service.
At at time when human systems move faster than wisdom, MINDAI is gathering a small circle of conscious change-makers to return to the source of true leadership:the mind, the heart and the field we create together.

the space between
Menla Retreat, Upstate NY | APRIL 23–25, 2027
There is a space between every breath. It is small, and most of us pass through it without noticing. Yet it is precisely here — in the pause, the gap, the interval between one thing and the next — that the mind becomes free to perceive differently. This is the territory of Mental Intelligence: the quality of awareness that determines what we are able to see, and therefore everything we are able to do. Over one weekend in the Catskills, at Menla — the Dalai Lama's mountain retreat, set on 325 acres of blessed and forested land — Dr. Aimon Kopera, MD, opens the framework at the heart of her book The Space Between: Mental Intelligence. You will be introduced, experientially, to the nine fields of human awareness, and to the practices that begin to develop them. At the center of the weekend is the three-hour MINDAI Process — a guided journey of breath, curated music, and rhythm designed to carry you directly into the intelligence fields and let you feel, rather than merely understand, the space between. You will leave with a personal map of your own perception, a daily practice of your own design, and a quieter, wider way of meeting your life.
TECHNOLOGY OF PERCEPTION
Menla Retreat, Upstate NY | June 25–27, 2027
Perception is not fixed. It is trainable. Across thousands of years, on every continent, traditions with no contact between them arrived at the same six technologies for changing the quality of human awareness: breath, sound, plant medicine, somatic practice, instruments and biofeedback, and ceremony. Dr. Aimon Kopera, MD, gathers them into a single working method she calls the Technology of Perception — the launching of her forthcoming book and the focus of this practitioner weekend at Menla. This immersion is for those who already feel the pull of this work and want to go deeper: clinicians, coaches, therapists, facilitators, and graduates of The Space Between. You will move through each of the six channels in turn, learn the science and mechanism behind each, and discover how to combine them into what Dr. Aimon calls a Perception Stack — a deliberate sequence that cultivates a specific field of intelligence. The weekend's three-hour MINDAI Process becomes your laboratory: a full breath, music, and rhythm journey experienced not only as a participant but with a practitioner's eye, so you understand how it works from the inside. You will leave with a method you can bring into your own room, and a doorway into your mental intelligence.
